SUMMARY
Our client, a prominent player in the Property Industry, is actively seeking a Technical Reporting Accountant to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the technical financial reporting efforts for both the organization and its clients. Your primary responsibilities will involve analyzing data for tailored reporting, crafting necessary reports, and ensuring meticulous preparation and oversight of specific statutory reports. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with technical queries (IFRS) and prepare any related technical opinions as required
The preparation of certain financial statements and the review of financial statements as required
Oversight of income and deferred tax calculations for the relevant entities under management
Assistance in the preparation and submission of provisional tax returns and annual IT14 returns for entities under management
Overseeing the submission of all statutory returns
Assisting the auditors at interim and final audit and preparation of relevant working papers
Assist with IFRS and other reporting requirements and disclosures at interim and year end
Must have a detailed understanding of reporting standards and being up to date with new effective standards
Assist in the drafting and implementation of policies related to the financial systems and procedures
Support Financial Managers throughout the reporting process
Assist with MMH QIHF reporting and oversee financial reporting undertaken by Realfin
Positively influence and participate in change initiatives
Involvement in ad-hoc projects related to the financial and administration needs of the finance Division
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualified CA SA with 3 Post Articles experience
IFRS Reporting
Strong understanding of Income Tax & Financial Statements
